Brian Sanford Stringer passed away peacefully in hospital with family by his side, on Sat. Nov. 5, 2016 at the age of 64. Born in Hamilton, Nov. 8, 1951, and spent most of his growing up years in Welland. Brian is survived by his ever-loving wife, Karen (nee Maskaluk) of 41 years. Proud and cherished father of Ami, Paul (Jen) and Ronnie (Steph). Adored Papa of Taylor, Dakotah and Madisyn, William, Alex and Baby Bryant, Brianna, Tyris, Tanisha and Kayla.
Dear and loving brother of Glenna Landry, Catherine (Gerry) Andrusyk, Cheryl (Paul) Klapiw and Robert (Vicky) Stringer. Loving son of Doris Leifland and the late Courtland Stringer. Loving son-in-law of Georgina Maskaluk and the late William Maskaluk. Dear Brother-in-law of Sharon and Dave Reilly and Gary and Sandy Maskaluk. Loved Uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Brian worked at General Motors (St. Catharines) for over 25 years. Brian lived and devoted his life for his wife, children and grandchildren. Brian was a very talented and handyman in so many ways, from playing guitar to making numerous wood designs. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and working in the bush.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Brian's life will be held a the Croatian National Home, 6 Broadway Ave., Welland, ONT on Thurs. Nov. 17th at 11:00 a.m. with luncheon to follow.
