Ilene Behnke (McCaulley) passed away peacefully on January 20, 2017 at the age of 90 years. Ilene was born June 29, 1926 to Vera and Ross McCaulley, she was the oldest of four children, Doreen, Dorothy, Gerald. Ilene was married to the late Verner Behnke for 65 years and had three children, Sheila(Stan), John(Rebecca), Sherri(Claude). Ilene enjoyed sewing, knitting, reading,gardening, swimming and dancing with her love Verner until his recent passing in September. Beloved Grandma to Paul, Lisa(James), Anna, Claire, Kevin(Shelly), Michelle(Keith), Sarah(Rob), Adam(Holly) and great grandma to Mercedes(Denver), Tegan, Logan, Bella, Tyler(Amy), Kyle, Christen, Stephan and Tyler. The family would like to thank the staff at Water Tower Lodge for the exceptional and loving care they provided. Also a heart felt thank you to the staff at St. Francis Memorial Hospital.
