A special thank you to the staff at Miriamichi Lodge who treated Raymond with such warmth and care and handing out hugs and candy when needed.
Raymond was a career skidder operator and the last skidder he used is on display at the Logging Museum in Algonquin Park. He always enjoyed a rousing game of auction 45 with Edna & Winifred, euchre with Sally & Edward and Agnes & Jerome and really, anyone who could be persuaded to lose or gain a quarter. He enjoyed being a part of the Doug Beingessner hunting gang. Snowmobiling and ice fishing with family and a very large group of relatives were favourite pastimes for many years. Raymond had a great sense of humour and befriended and entertained all ages of people with his positive outlook on life and many stories. Raymond had a kind and gentle soul.
We will never forget you. Thanks for the memories.
