Bernard Michael Babinski

Born Tuesday, Sept 14, 1937 - Died Saturday, October 6, 2018 (Age 81)

Bernard was born into a large Polish Catholic family. He was the son of the late Mary Anne (Recoskie) and Peter Babinski. Both of his parents were born in Poland and immigrated here to Canada. They lived on the family farm off of Siberia Road on Babinski Road. Besides helping out on the family farm, Bernard gained employment at the Petawawa National Forrest Institute. While there, he filled various roles and eventually finished his career with them on fire tower duty to alert the fire department if fire broke out.

He was the father of one child, a son Barry Brian Babinski who passed in July of this year. He is survived by his brothers Dominic and Paul (Caroline) and his sister Monica Kulas (Edmund, deceased).
