Dwain passed away peacefully at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Orillia on Oct 7, 2019. Survived by his wife Bonnie and fur baby Kutie Pie along with his mother Ann (Miller). Predeceased by his father Gordon, sister in law Denise Conway and brother in law Glen Lundy. Much loved brother of Susan Pierce, Patsy Reid (Rick), Darlene Thompson and Larry (Margaret). Brother and sister in laws, Michael Lundy (Margaret), Kevin Lundy (Kim), Brad Lundy (Sarah), Lori Ann Robinson (Bobby Jeff), Allison Lundy and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Dwain was a very kind hearted and caring individual, especially when it came to the people he loved. Dwain loved his family, friends, fishing, picnics and feeding his furry and feathered friends as he spent six months of each year with his wife in beautiful Algonquin Park.
Dwain was a truck driver who loved his job and took great pride in what he did. He was unfortunately as he said “forced into early retirement” after an on the job accident in 2004. This saddened Dwain greatly and was the beginning of a very long and sometimes difficult time for Dwain and his family. He will be sadly missed by everyone but is now at rest.
