Ingrid Annabel (Cowan) Coulas

Ingrid Annabel Coulas, age 61, passed away suddenly on February 25, 2019 at 10:30 PM at the Ottawa Civic Hospital. She passed peacefully with friends and family at her side.

Ingrid was born February 17, 1958 in Pembroke, Ontario. She was a lifelong resident of Barry's Bay where she taught Grade 1 at St. John Bosco School for 13 years. She deeply cared about the community. She was a kind and nurturing mother who deeply loved, and was loved by, her children and grandchildren. Ingrid was an avid reader and knitter but her first passion was education and teaching.

Ingrid will forever live on in the memories of her children: Rachel (Steve), Laura and Shelley (Allan); her grandchildren: David and Rose; her siblings: Susan (Ryan), Colleen (Glen), Terry, and Kevin; nieces and nephews: Christopher (Ardyn), Emily (Jamie), Jeffrey (Jennifer), Stephen, Jenny (Sean), and Kaitlyn. She was predeceased by her parents Annie and Gilbert, and siblings Edward (Doris), and Denzel (Margaret).

May she rest in peace alongside her mother Julia Maika and her dear friend Doris Holstock.
