Jackie Beatrice (Dagenais) O'Brien

On Friday September 27, in the Pembroke Regional hospital, Jackie O’Brien passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Jackie O’Brien (nee Dagenais) daughter of the late Bernadette Dagenais (nee Marchand). Beloved wife of Lornie O’Brien, loving mother of Kelly (Brent) Newman, Laurie (Dan) Bush and Jennifer O’Brien. Nurturing Grandmother of Lawrence O’Brien, Liam (Willow) O’Brien, Logan O’Brien, Jayden O’Brien and Gabriel O’Brien. She will also be missed by her great grandchildren. Jackie is survived by her two brothers Denis (Kathleen) Dagenais, Robert (Monique) Dagenais and many nieces and nephews.

A wife, a mother, a grandma too,
This is the legacy we have from you.
You taught us love and how to fight,
You gave us strength, you gave us might.
A stronger person would be hard to find,
And in your heart, you were always kind.
You fought for us all in one way or another,
Not just as a wife not just as a mother.
For all of us you gave your best,
Now the time has come for you to rest.
So go in peace, you’ve earned your sleep,
Your love in our hearts, we’ll eternally keep
