It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Joan Ann Marie Chapeskie in Barry’s Bay Hospice on Sunday, January 12, 2020, in her 80th year. Joan Chapeskie nee Gutoskie, beloved wife of Anthony (Tony) Chapeskie, and dear mother of Mark (Jen) Chapeskie. Loving grandmother to Isaac and Katie. Survived by her sister Rita Gauthier and brother Basil Gutoskie. Predeceased by sons Michael and Christopher Chapeskie, parents Bernard and Mary Gutoskie nee Drohan, and siblings Gerard, Cecil, Leonard and Theresa Gutoskie.  Friends may call at the Heubner Funeral Home, Barry’s Bay on Thursday January 16, 2020, from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Hedwig’s Roman Catholic Church Barry’s Bay, Friday at 10:30 a.m. Spring interment at St. Hedwig’s Parish Cemetery.
