Charon and Mike, Tom and Stevie, Ken and Clarence, my thoughts and prayers go out to each and everyone of you and your families. Jack will be deeply missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him. He was definitely a spirited person with an upbeat personality and always the life of the party. It was hard to be in a bad mood when Jack was around...always a smile and always jokester. I first met him and Doreen over fifteen years ago during a road trip with my father (Denis N. Fournier) and we immediately hit it off. Several years later our paths would cross again when he managed to come visit my family and I in San Antonio, TX and we all had such a wonderful time. Over the years I managed to come and visit him at his home in Whitney with my Dad and we were always welcomed with open arms and always had such a great time during our visit. I will truly miss him and I can't begin to express the great loss my father is experiencing at this moment and how much he will miss one of his true and dear Chums. Jack, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for the good times and laughs and thank you for being a true an dear friend to my father. May you rest in peace and find comfort in re-uniting with Jim and Doreen. Till we meet again at the Mansion on the Hill.....

My deepest condolences and prayers to you Connie, Don, Sharon and family during this difficult time. Your Dad was a wonderful loving and funny man and will be sadly missed by many. He always had a big smile when you saw him. Such wonderful memories are in my heart from when I was a teenager growing up with your family and the times spent at your home. I especially remember one fond memory at your home during hunting season and your Dad was teasing me about being a city slicker and not knowing how to shoot a gun. Well i wanted to prove Jack and Don that I could. Don loaded up the gun and told me to shoot at an apple out of the tree. Well let's just say I missed that apple. Jack broke out in laughter and said well she might have missed that apple but she took out the whole damn branch with that shot. We all laughed so hard!!! Jack had a big heart and was a good friend to my Dad. He came by for many visits after my Mom passed and during the time of my Dads illness and I will never forget his friendship to him and always had many stories to put a smile on my Dads face. Jack .... you will be sadly missed but never forgotten !!!!

I have very fond memories of Jack. As a kid I remember the numerous visits to the Johnson house on a weekend, lots of music, fun and laughs.
Later on in my teen years I had the privilege of working with Jack at the MNR (Summer Experience 1977). Heather Switzer and I were Jack's rock pickers on Shall Lake Road. When we got caught up our work, Jack would take us for a drive back to the pit, funny jokes and stories all the way there and back. At the end of that summer, Heather and I gave him a special rock we decorated. He was very touched and told me years later he still had that rock. He was a caring guy, I will never forget his hardy laugh and when he shook your hand, you knew it!
Sharon, Don, Connie and your whole family, our deepest sympathies on your huge loss. Laurie & David
