Mildred Mary Yantha

Yantha, Mildred Mary - Age 80 passed away Wednesday March 14, 2018 at St Francis memorial Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Barry's Bay, Ontario and was the youngest of 4 children. Mildred ran the Opeongo Restaurant in Barry's Bay and was an integral part of the community. Mildred was predeceased  by her parents Frank Brezinkie and Victoria Shushack, husbands Raymond W Zelney,  Kenneth P Yantha.  She left behind 5 children, Glenda Vaillancourt (Paul Vaillancourt), Michelle Zelney, Cindy Luloff (Carman Luloff), Martin Zelney and Maria Zelney.  6 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.  Mildred will be remembered as a hard working loving Mother who rose to every challenge in her life.

Visitation will be held at Heubner Funeral Home on Sunday March 18 from 2:00 - 4:00pm and 7:00 - 9:00pm.  Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday March 19 at 10:30am at St. Hedwig's Roman Catholic Church. Luncheon to follow. Interment to follow in the spring.

The family would like to extend our gratitude to Dr Joe Cybulskie, and all the staff who cared for Mom at St Francis Memorial Hospital throughout her illness.  Mom you were loved and will be truly missed.
