OLSHESKIE, Philip passed away surrounded by family on February 15, 2018 in Barry's Bay at the age of 59. 

Cherished father of Katherine (Dmitri) and Patrick. Loving grandfather of Ralph. Dear brother to Maureen, Danny, deceased David, Leanne (Roger), Louis (Wendy), deceased Carol Ann (Francis), deceased Dennis, Christine (deceased Larry). Predeceased by parents Esther and Alfred. 
With a twinkle in his eyes and a smile that lit up any room, Philip's love for life was immediately apparent to anyone who met him. Philip enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and had a knack for making those around him feel special. As an avid nature lover, spending time outdoors brought him much contentment. 
Special thanks to the staff and volunteers at the Madawaska Valley Hospice for their dedicated support and compassion, as well as to all members of the community who shared their unwavering kindness to Philip and his loved ones.

Visitation to be held at Heubner Funeral Home, 43 Stafford Street in Barry’s Bay on Sunday, February 18th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at St. Hedwig’s Church on Monday, February 19th at 10:30 am.  Spring Interment in the Parish Cemetery at a later date. 

Donations may be made to Madawaska Valley Hospice Palliative Care.
