Raymond Mantifel

Raymond Lyle Mantifel passed away peacefully in his sleep on the 29th of April, 2018, in his 77th year. He was born on the 26th of April, 1941, in Timmins, Ontario, to the late Fenny and Jean Mantifel. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Marion; his children, Rodger and Lisa; son-in-law, Colin Kargus; two beautiful grandchildren, Nolan and Kai; and his sister, Melody Barton. Raymond is also survived by his many nieces and nephews. He also cherished his church family as they loved (or put up with?) his sense of humour. He was predeceased by his brother, Stuart; sister-in-law, Joanne (Coulas) Mantifel; and by his brother-in-law, Jim Barton. We will be celebrating the life of Raymond on Saturday, May 5th at the Rosenthal Wesleyan Church, to which all friends and family are invited. Doors open for visitation at 10:00 am with funeral services following at 11:00 am. Lunch will be served following the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Rosenthal Wesleyan Graveyard or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
