Feb. 14, 1939 – July 1, 2020

Passed away peacefully in St. Francis Memorial Hospital, Barry’s Bay, Ontario. Beloved wife of the late Angus Yakabuski. She will be missed by her daughter Doreen (Jack Vanderburg), her son Dennis (Lori), and her two grandsons, Evann and Ethann (Kendra).

Honouring Anastasia’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no visitation. A Christian Burial Mass will be held at St. Hedwig’s Church on Saturday, July 11 at 10:30, followed by a private graveside service for family at St. Hedwig’s Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Dr. Dawes for his years of care as her family doctor. Special gratitude to Dr. Malinowski and the nurses on the medical floor who cared for her with utmost professionalism and genuine kindness and compassion.
