Barry James Dombroski

BARRY JAMES DOMBROSKI - August 26, 1958 – May 3, 2022

Barry, age 63, died peacefully at home May 3, 2022, after a very long and hard-fought battle with cancer.

Barry is survived by Marion, his loving wife of 39 years and his brother Jim (Lorraine, Jesse, Lucas). Predeceased by his parents Merita and Aloysius, and brother Keith (Dayna, Hannah). Barry will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Thank you to the Temmy Latner Centre Home Palliative Care Team for all their support. A very special and heartfelt thank you to my totally amazing family and incredible neighbours and friends who have consistently stood by my side throughout Barry’s decline. And to PSW Azeb, for all her help during pre-palliative care.

At Barry’s request, he has been cremated.

There will be a small service and Celebration of Life held in Toronto on June 4, 2022, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 p.m. at our home, 127 Donside Drive, Scarborough, ON.

There will also be a service and burial held at St. Lawrence O’Toole Annex Cemetery, 117 Pioneer Road, Barry’s Bay, Ontario on June 25, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. followed by light refreshments at his brother’s home, 299 Siberia Road, Barry’s Bay, ON

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the United Nations Refugee Agency in Canada at give.unhcr.ca or Shades of Hope Wildlife Refuge shadesofhope.ca would be appreciated.
