Catherine Mary Perrier

July 20, 1938 – March 5, 2021

Catherine Mary Perrier (née Pecoskie) passed away in Toronto on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Dorothy Ley Hospice.

Catherine is predeceased by her husband Raymond and survived by her children Randy (Susan) and Laure and beloved grandmother to Rhiannon and Conor. She is predeceased by her brothers Ambrose (Ursula), Adolphe (Kay), Tony (Irene), Dominic (Leona), and survived by brother Art (Carmel).  She will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Catherine’s faith was of the utmost importance to her, never missing a Sunday mass and a proud member of the Transfiguration of Our Lord Church CWL for 45 years.  

Special thanks to all the frontline staff who cared for Catherine during her final months.

Visitation will be at Heubner Funeral Home in Barry’s Bay, Ontario on Tuesday, March 9 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm by appointment only. Please use the RSVP links below. 

The funeral mass will be at Holy Canadian Martyrs Church in Combermere, Ontario on Wednesday March 10, 2021 at 11:00 am. Due to COVID restrictions the funeral will be private, by invitation only. For anyone that can not make it to the funeral mass it will be live streamed on the church's Facebook page. You can follow this link: https://www.facebook.com/HcmSfds/.

A celebration of life will be held in Toronto later.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Dorothy Ley Hospice or St. Francis Table.

Due to provincial directives, the maximum number of people in the funeral home/church at any time is 30% of the venue capacity and you must keep a minimum distance of 6 feet between you at all times. This means no hugging, handshakes or other forms of contact with people outside of your household. Masks are now mandatory to enter the funeral home/church/service location. You must book a visitation time via the sign up below. You must remain outside in your vehicle (no waiting outside the funeral home/service location) and wait to be allowed inside at your designated time slot and you must sign in with your name and phone number once you enter for contact tracing purposes.
