Clayton Jr (Sonny) Addison Barber

With very sad hearts the Barber family announces the passing of Clayton Addison Barber Jr (Sonny) at Ottawa Heart Institute on February 24th, 2021. Sonny was married to his wife Shirley for 57 years and they are parents to 4 girls: Lorri Labrecque (Randy), Kelly Meness (Marcel Auger), Terri Scott (Adam) and Tracy Barber (Jon) Armstrong. Proud grandfather to Jessica, John Paul, Stephanie, Christopher, Brandon, Nicole, Zack and Alex. Great Grandpa to Jackson, Chelsie and Alice. Survived by his sisters Clara Earls (Ross), Coral Addison (Albert) and many nephews and nieces. 

Sonny touched many hearts with his outdoor hunting and fishing stories and will be sadly missed by all. 

Due to provincial directives, the maximum number of people in the funeral home/church at any time is 30% of the venue capacity and you must keep a minimum distance of 6 feet between you at all times. This means no hugging, handshakes or other forms of contact with people outside of your household. Masks are now mandatory to enter the funeral home/church/service location. You must remain outside in your vehicle (no waiting outside the funeral home/service location) and wait to be allowed inside and you must sign in with your name and phone number once you enter for contact tracing purposes.
