It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Colleen, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Her love for life and her family and friends helped her determination and vigour to fight the many obstacles that this disease presented to her. She died in her sleep at home with her loving family by her side.
She leaves behind her beloved parents Joseph and Caroline, her siblings: Debbie (Mark Prince), Lawrence (Josephine) and Sharon (Dave Markwick) and nephews Brody & Ryan and nieces Sara & Jade, and her supportive Uncle Nick & Aunt Mary.
A most special thank you to Dylaina who provided Colleen and her family the much needed support and guidance in keeping her comfortable and Dr. Meeking for coming to the house. Colleen was generous, loving and touched the hearts of those that knew her, she had a great sense of humour.
- yeah right -
She loved making crafts, creating pieces of art, and making Holiday gifts, going out for lunch and to order her favorite chicken fingers and fries. She had many of these special moments with her most trusted friend Rosa Etmanskie, who provided much comfort to the family and was a big part of Colleen’s journey.
Professional arrangements have been entrusted to the Heubner Funeral Home Barry's Bay.
