Danny Stephen Lorbetskie
August 1, 1960 – September 28, 2021

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Danny (Dan) Lorbetskie, on September 28, 2021, in his home, with his family by his side. He is survived by his devoted wife, Shirl (Shirley Ann Coulas) who shared a life together for 40 years and loving, dedicated father to Mitchell and Matthew (Katrin). Brother to surviving brothers, Jerome (Colleen) and Brian (Lori – deceased). Dan was preceded in death by his father, Stephen, mother Mary and brothers Andrew (Mary), Leonard and Richard (Drenda).

He leaves behind many family members and friends, including Aylen Lake family, nieces and nephews, who supported him in life and illness. A huge “Thank You” to all who helped throughout his struggle. The trophies he left behind will always remind us of his passion for spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing. His love for vacationing in the Caribbean will leave us with fond memories. Dan was a thoughtful, kind and reserved man of unmatched integrity. His most notable quality was his work ethic and meticulous attention to detail which was reflected in his career as a building contractor and in all personal projects he pursued.

Cancer took his life but it could never take his passion for life and the love for his family.

It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn’t go alone,

Although the above photo is not customary, he always wanted me by his side. In keeping with Dan’s wishes, he has requested no service and will be cremated. A celebration of his life will be held at a later time and a place he would have enjoyed.
