It is with broken hearts that the family of Eleanor Burgess sadly announce her passing on Sunday, November 21st in her 83rd year at St. Francis Memorial Hospital, in Barry's Bay Ontario.

She will forever be in the hearts of her loving husband of 65 years Albert Burgess, their two sons Wayne (Sharon) and Bruce (Donna), and her Grandchildren Sara and Samantha. Also her step grandchildren Nathan, Ryan and Kristen and step great granddaughter Nova.

Eleanor will be greatly missed by her long time closest friend Elizabeth, along with countless relatives and friends near and far.

Eleanor loved her family with all of her heart and she always showed it. She was a beautiful woman with a genuine heart and she lit up the room wherever she went. Eleanor will be greatly missed and her passing has left many heartbroken, but take comfort in knowing she is at peace.

In keeping with Eleanor’s wishes, she will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Details will be provided.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at St. Francis Memorial Hospital for their comfort and assistance in her final hours.
