With broken hearts we announce the passing of our father Elmer Leo Dombroskie on January 20, 2022 at the age of 86. He died quickly and peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his wife Margaret (Trebinskie). He will be lovingly remembered by his children Barry and Susan (Hudder); Brenda and Bill (Eccleston); Brian and Wendy (Davis); Lori Kay; Glenn; and Kelly Ann & Chris (Cybulski).
He was a fantastic grandpa to Ashley, Jacob, Victoria, Blake and Bryson and loved doing activities with them when possible. He is survived by his sister Sally Kuiack; brother Raymond and stepbrother Andrew and many nieces and nephews.
In his younger years Dad enjoyed the outdoors. Being a bushworker most of his life, he especially loved hunting, fishing and gardening. He enjoyed countless jigsaw puzzles, playing games on the tablet and going for drives down country roads pointing out landmarks and telling the history of the people.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the paramedics, Officer G. Yarascavitch who guided us through this difficult time and the coroner Dr. T. McVay. Special thanks to Dad's PSWs Marilyn and Dorothy. Dad looked forward to your visits and smiling faces.
