Evelyn Frances (Luckasavitch) Cybulski

Evelyn died peacefully with family by her side in St. Francis Memorial Hospital in Barry's Bay at the age of 89. Predeceased by her husband Joseph (Bobo) Cybulski (1980), daughters Shirley (infant) and Lorraine Courtland (Richard), her parents Felix Luckasavitch and Mary (Chippior), brothers Dominic, Edmond, Irvin, Lawrence, Maxie and Raymond. Survived by her daughter Thelma Skebo (Kevin), son Albert, sisters Mary Bloskie (Lornie) and Phyllis Preston (Gary), Grandchildren Zachary & Alan Skebo, Erin Courtland (Carney) and Chris Courtland (Kirsten), Mathew and David (Laura) Cybulski. Great Grandchildren Sam and Ben Skebo, Ellie and Chloe Courtland, Leah and Dylan Cybulski.

Evelyn enjoyed knitting baby sweaters for family and friends, playing cards and working in her vegetable garden that won a community award. She loved tending her beautiful geraniums that stood proudly on her front porch every summer. She was famous for making her cake donuts and cinnamon buns.

Evelyn had strong faith and was a devoted parishioner of St. Hedwig parish. She was an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan. Evelyn was a proud founding member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 406 Barry's Bay. She enjoyed working in the MVDHS cafeteria in her 40's and later studied to become a PSW in her 50's enjoying 10 years of service at Valley Manor.
