Frederick Day
It is with great sadness that the family of Frederick Alwin Day announces his passing after a brief illness, on Friday June 18th, 2021 at the age of 84 years. A longtime resident of Combermere, Fred will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Ursula (nee Lukasik) and his children, Dwayne (Maureen) Jerry (Lisa) Chris (Krysia) and Laura (Joe) Vogel. Fred will also be remembered by his son in law Joe Ridout, 23 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
Fred was pre-deceased by his parents Fred & Daisy Day, his sister Joan Stevens and his daughter Kathy Ridout.
Visitation will be held at Heubner Funeral Home, 43 Stafford St, Barry’s Bay on Monday June 21st 5 - 7pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday June 22nd at 10:30am at St. Hedwig Catholic Church with Rev. Paul Burchat presiding. Interment will follow at St. Frances de Sales - Latchford Bridge Cemetery.
Memorial donations in memory of Fred may be made to Madawaska Valley Hospice Palliative Care.

You must remain outside in your vehicle (no waiting outside the funeral home/service location) and wait to be allowed inside at your designated time slot and you must sign in with your name and phone number once you enter for contact tracing purposes.
