Henryk Kostka

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Henryk Kostka. Loving husband to Stanislawa Kostka, father to Peter Kostka, Beata Kostka-Lewis, Paul Kostka, and Michael Kostka, and doting Grandfather to Alexis Mia Lewis. Henryk was a strong, social man, who enjoyed meeting new friends, laughing over a beer, (the international sign of "friendship", which he was never without), playing pool, and darts. He was an avid fisherman, (even catching a seagull once!), and mushroom picker, who always defended the terrible scent of dried mushrooms that made his children hold their breath, and run! He found his happiness in Barry's Bay. It was his peaceful haven, and didn't care to go back to "stinky" Toronto, unless dragged by his loving wife, for special occasions. Henryk lived life enjoying every day, with good friends and family, and was blessed to have so many. We are truly thankful for all the love and support received from friends and family, and all the caring staff at Valley Manor who took such wonderful care of him over the last two years.

All your struggles are gone, and you can now rest peacefully with the lord.
