Jacqueline Anne (Walsh) Bouchard
May 13, 1946 - February 27, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jackie Bouchard. Beloved wife of Emile Bouchard for 38 years. Loving mother of Victor (Amanda) & Mark (Selena). Loving grandmother to Scarlet, Bernedette, Wayne & Ryder. Jackie's grandchildren meant everything to her, unfortunately she never got to meet Ryder as he was born just two days before she passed.
Jackie is pre-deceased by her parents Fred & Hazel Walsh, her sister Blanche (Bob) Aston, her brothers Stan (Norma), Bernard (Lois), Max, and her brother in law Fred Meharrie.
Jackie is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, her sisters Joan Meharrie, Judy (Vince) Coburn, and her sister in laws Roberta Walsh and Rose Marie (Bouchard) Ferguson. Jackie will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Jackie had a number of jobs over the years but the jobs that stood out were Federal Pioneer Ltd. in Toronto, and after moving to Combermere in 1989 she worked at George Vanier School, and was a bookkeeper for Rainbow Rafts. The job that meant the most to her was when she joined the St. Francis Herb Farm family. From the owners on down she loved them all and really enjoyed working there.
In 1980 Jackie joined the Catholic Church and her Catholic faith was very important to her right to the end. She was a member of the Holy Canadian Martyrs Church CWL, and took part in weekly adoration pre-COVID. She also found time to be part of the George Vanier Catholic School Council.
On Friday February 26 we watched and took part in Fr. Tim Moyle' s live stream mass from Chapeau before supper.
