Lawrence Joseph Power

Lawrence “Larry” Joseph Power, in his 79th year, passed away peacefully at the family cottage on May 2nd, 2020. He was born April 18th, 1941 in North Harbour, Newfoundland to Howard and Helena Power. Larry worked at CN as a Train Master for 35 years. He enjoyed mostly spending his time with his family, golfing and traveling.

He will be sorely missed by his loving wife Grace; his 3 children, Julie Luckasavitch (husband Chris); Larry Power (wife Julie); Lisa Power and his two grandchildren Brayden and Khloé. He is also survived by his brother Douglas Power, sisters Christine Power and Margaret Power, brother-in-law Barry as well as 4 nephews, 6 nieces and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his father-in-law Walter Watson and mother-in-law Ethal Watson and 1 brother Brendan Power.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
