Lester Samuel Behm
September 13. 1940 – November 19, 2021

Samuel Behm, age 81, passed away November 19, 2021 at the Ottawa Civic Hospital. Born in Lyndoch Township, he was the son of the late Albert and Alvina Behm. A lifelong resident of Keller Road, R. R # 2, Palmer Rapids, Ontario, since birth September 13, 1940. He leaves to mourn his sisters Gertrude and Eleanor (Larry), sister-in-law Iona (Amil, deceased), adopted siblings Rose (Barry), Hazel (Jerry), Fred (Elizabeth, deceased), Tim (Darlene), numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was a member of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church. He was a firefighter with MNR and worked locally in the logging and forest industry. He was a proud member and supporter of the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters. Being outdoors and feeding birds and deer were his greatest pleasure. He enjoyed watching hockey, Toronto Maple Leafs fan and baseball, Toronto Blue Jays fan.

Visitation will be held at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, Schutt, on Friday, November 26. 7 p.m.to 9 and Saturday, November 27 from 10 a.m. to 11. Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 27 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery.  Cremation has taken place.
