Lorraine Mariene (Trebinskie) Luckasavitch

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our Mom Lorraine on July 28, 2023 at MV Hospice at the age of 82. Loving wife of Joseph for 61 years. Dear Mom of Janice, James (Laura) and Chris (Julie). Nana to Casandra (Reid), Austen, Kesley and Brayden. Predeceased by her parents Felix and Mary Trebinskie, sisters Evelyn Yantha, Sally Etmanskie, Doris Fenn and brothers Clarence, Bernard and Kenneth. Sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. 

Mom always had an infectious smile, loved and lived life to the fullest. She was always determined to go out visiting family and friends. This was sometimes a challenge but she would never give up trying! Her grandchildren meant the world to her. She would always welcome them with open arms and couldn't wait for their visits. 

A heartfelt thank you to Dylaina, the office staff, PSWs and volunteers at MV Hospice. You made us feel right at home always! We have made lots of new friends over the past months. Thank you to the entire staff at St. Francis Hospital for your care and compassion over the past years. Mom you are the wind beneath my wings and I will always love you! Bye for Now!

As per her wishes, no visitation will be held. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday August 5 at 10:30am at St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church in Barry's Bay.
