Obituary
Louis Raymond Dombroskie, 78, passed away on the 21st of December 2021 at Madawaska Valley Hospice Palliative Care in Barry’s Bay, Ontario. Survived by his wife Susan (née Luckovitch), children Brian (Rosemary), Louie Jr. (Irene), and April (Patrick), and sister Rosie (Orville). He will be forever loved by his grandchildren Cory, Darren and Grace.
Born and raised in Barry’s Bay, he was a true valley man. Hard working, and always looking out for his neighbours and family. Never a card game turned down, a story to be shared or a job left unsatisfactory. His work ethic was unparalleled, and admired by those who knew and cared about him.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 22 from 5-9pm at Heubner Funeral Home in Barry's Bay. Funeral Mass will be held this Thursday, December 23 at St. Hedwig Catholic Church, Barry’s Bay at 1:30pm.
The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers at St. Francis Memorial Hospital and Madawaska Valley Hospice Palliative Care.
