Lucy Barbara (Recoskie) Kuiack

LUCY KUIACK (nee Recoskie) 79, passed away peacefully at St. Francis Memorial Hospital with family by her side on Monday, July 23, 2018.  Lucy was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Edward Kuiack (2001).  

Forever remembered by her four children Robert, James (Laurie), Charlene (Dan) and Ann-Marie (Philip). Loving grandmother of Sheldon, Breanne (Allan), Cameron, Calvin, Emerson, Finley and Bennett, and great-grandmother to Drake and Natalie.  Cherished friend and companion of Herman.  Survived by her brothers John and Edward (Marla), and sisters Barbara (Kenneth) and Anna-Mary (Gerald), as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Mary (Dombroskie), brothers Peter and Bernard (Elizabeth), and sister Stella (late Max).

Lucy loved her family and friends, the comforts of home, the game show channel, playing cards & bingo, knitting her famous dish cloths, going for long drives and a good potluck with country music playing in the background.

Family and friends are invited to visit at the Heubner Funeral Home in Barry's Bay, on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. or Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 9:00-10:30 a.m.  The funeral service will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Wilno, on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.

Lunch to follow in the hall of St. Mary’s Church.
