Peplinski, Margaret Mary (nee Serran)

Passed away suddenly at the Valley Manor, Barry’s Bay on Sunday, May 28th, 2023 at 94 years of age. Predeceased by her parents, Charles and Annie Serran, siblings William Serran and Phelanda Hall, her husband, Wilfred and her daughter Darlene Peplinskie, and her long-time partner, Peter Aleck. Margaret will be sadly missed by her son Parnell (Jackie), grandchildren Yvette, Aimee, Duane (Victoria), and great-grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters Gertie (Andy) and Viola, and her many nieces and nephews.

Margaret was a life-long resident of Barry’s Bay. She worked at St. Francis Memorial Hospital for over 25 years and was a member of the Catholic Women’s League for 71 years.

A special thank you to all of the staff who cared for Margaret during her stay at the Valley Manor.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Heubner Funeral Home, Barry’s Bay. Visitation followed by mass and interment at St. Lawrence O’Toole Parish, Barry’s Bay will be on June 1.

Donations in memory of Margaret would be appreciated by the family to St. Francis Memorial Hospital and the Valley Manor.
