Marie Rose Karen Nicholas

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, Marie Nicholas, on March 27, 2024. She passed away at St. Francis Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. Marie is survived by her children Eric (Patti) and Cindy (Al), grandchildren Laura (Tom), Christopher (Abby), Jason (Lexi), Owen (Kerry), great grandson Maverick and brother Dick (Doreen). She was predeceased by her husband Ron (1996), her parents Helen and Peter Dombroskie, and siblings Al, Rene, Carmel (Golka) and Terry. Visitation will be held at Heubner Funeral Home, Barry's Bay, Ontario on Tuesday, April 2 from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m., followed by a 10:30 funeral mass at St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church. Spring interment will be held at St. Martin of Tours Cemetery, Whitney, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation or St. Hedwig's Building Maintenance Fund would be appreciated.
