Michael Gerard Sullivan

With a heavy heart we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather, brother and brother-in-law, Michael Gerard Sullivan, March 5, 2024.  He passed away at the age of 65 at Lakeridge Health Hospital, Oshawa, ON with his family by his side, after a long battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.  Michael was a loving Husband of Mary (O’Malley), Father of James (Kavita), Oshawa and Sean (Lisa), Oshawa. Devoted Grandfather and teacher to Owen, William, Everett, and Ember. Predeceased by his parents Jerome Sullivan and Mary (Walsh), Latchford Bridge, mother and father-in law Alfie and Helen O'Malley and brother-in-law Michael O'Malley. Beloved brother to Raymond (Jane), Nepean, and Theresa Crampton (Dave), Ottawa. He will be dearly missed by his sisters-in-law Pat Endrizzi (Marco) and Connie O'Reilly (Neil) and brother-in-law Jim O'Malley (Maureen). He will be sadly missed by many nephews, nieces, in-laws, friends, colleagues, acquaintances, care givers, and the members of the Snake Rapids Hunt Club. Michael was a gas fitter who specialized in boilers and a business owner. He was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time in the wilderness. Michael's parting wisdom was “Always watch your footing when you shoot a deer”.
