Passed away suddenly at the Ottawa Civic Hospital in his 59th year, with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Debra (nee Jones) loving father of Matthew (Alex), Andrew, and Emma (Jesse). Proud Grandfather of Harley. Dear brother of Angeline Cybulski (late Lawrence), Donna Lorbetski (William), BettyAnn Cayer (Mike), Judy Sullivan (Wayne), chosen sister Ann Zadow (Mervin) and brother-in-law to David Simkins (Sue) of England. Predeceased by parents Richard and Myrtle Verch (nee Sell), brother Rodney (late Ann Burton) and mother-in-law Hannah Jones. Mike will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held in the spring. Arrangements entrusted to Heubner Funeral Home, Barry’s Bay. Expression of sympathy may be made to a charity of your choice.
