Surrounded by family, Nancy Dorman passed away unexpectedly from acute liver failure on August 24 at 83 years of age.
She will be greatly missed by her loving spouse Andre Van Hoof, her children Karen (Russell), Ken (Sherry), Terry (Roberta), Jackie (Quintin), Keith (Constance), and Kevin (Sarah), and her 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Pre-deceased by her parents Bill and Mary Bransfield, and sister-in-law Barb. Loved by brothers Jake, Wayne (Pat) and their families, and the extended Van Hoof families. Special thanks to the ICU staff at the Pembroke Regional Hospital for their compassion and care. Nancy was happiest surrounded by family or sitting in the lanai watching the birds. She will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those lucky enough to call her Nanc, Mom, Aunt Nancy and Gramma.
A celebration of her life will be held at the home of Andre Van Hoof on September 9 at 3pm. If you so wish, donations to the ICU unit of the Pembroke Regional hospital are appreciated.
