It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Pam Aleck, at the age of 77. Beloved wife of the late Frank Aleck (2002). Loving Mother of Timothy (1975), Ted (Lou), Andrew (Chrissy) and Wendy (Jason). Adored Nanny of Lynsay Aleck (Jesse), Connor Graybiel and Timmy Aleck. Proud G-Nan of Ryder and Archer. Cherished sister of James (Sandra) Simourd, Bernice Schaub and Boneta Chartrand (2011) She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews  and many close friends.

Pam radiated warmth, humour and compassion in all she did.  She was a thoughtful, kind, generous woman with a heart of gold. She shared a zest for life and bestowed complete and unconditional love upon her family.  She was a friend to all. She possessed an endless sense of duty and commitment to her village, community and faith.  She was tireless in her volunteering efforts from working to create the first public library in the town, co-authoring a book on the local history,  to her efforts in creating a cenotaph to honour and remember the commitment of those before her. She will live forever in all of our hearts. Love you to the moon and back!

Resting at Heubner Funeral Home with visitation Thursday February 20 @ 7-9p.m. Friday February 21 @ 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral mass in Madawaska @ St. Matthew's Catholic  Church @ 12 pm on Saturday February 22.
