Patrick Joseph O'Brien

Patrick Joseph O’Brien, affectionately known as “Pat,” peacefully passed away on the 6th of March 2024, at the age of 63. Pat was the devoted husband of Brenda O’Brien (Gauthier), married since the 15th of March 1997. Their union brought forth the blessings of parenthood with the arrival of their son John and shortly thereafter, their daughter Tapainga.

Born and raised in Quadeville, Pat’s presence will forever be cherished by his family and friends. What Pat loved most in this world was his family and the outdoors, anytime he wasn’t at work he would be outside fishing, hunting or planning his next outing. Tapainga and John O’Brien continue to honour his memory by sharing his love for nature and exploring the outdoors. An avid gardener, Pat was always happy to share the fruits of his labour with family and friends. Pat possessed a heart of gold, always there for you when you needed it most. He was the type of person that would give you the shirt off his back or his last dollar. Pat was always the most interesting person in the room and was a captivating storyteller that made you sit for hours, always left wanting more.
