Aleck, Peter Archie
Passed away suddenly at St. Francis Memorial Hospital, Barry’s Bay on Friday, June 18th, 2021 at 94 years of age. Predeceased by his parents, Stephen and Catherine, and siblings Helen, Leonard, Albert, John, Phil, Frances, Bill, Dora and Frank and his stepdaughter, Darlene. Pete will be sadly missed by his partner Margaret Peplinski, her son Parnell (Jackie), grandchildren Yvette, Aimee, Duane (Victoria), and great-grandchildren. He will be lovingly remembered by his sisters-in-law Gertie (Andy) and Viola, and his many nieces and nephews.
Pete’s smile and sense of humour will be remembered by his loved ones along with his lifelong enjoyment of fiddle music, hunting and the outdoors.
A special thank you to all of the staff who cared for Pete during his stay at St. Francis Memorial Hospital and the Valley Manor.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Heubner Funeral Home, Barry’s Bay. Visitation followed by mass and interment at St. Lawrence O’Toole Parish, Barry’s Bay will be on June 22.
