Rita Gutoskie-Gauthier

We are sad to announce the passing of our dear mom, grandma and great-grandma. She passed away peacefully at the Valley Manor with family by her side. She is survived by her daughters Ann (Jerry Porath) and Bunny (Jean Dutrisac). She is the loving grandma of Amy, Jamie, Steven, Jennifer and great grandma of Avery, Rylan, Vienna and Hadley. She was predeceased by her loving husband Roland (1959), her parents Mary and Bernard Gutoskie, her siblings Gerard, Cecil (Rita), Teresa, Leonard (Yolande) and Joan. She is survived by her brother Basil, sister-in-law Helen and brothers-in-law Tony Chapeskie, John Gauthier (late Nancy), and Evan Court (late Roberta). 

Mom worked as a Health Care Aide at St. Francis Memorial Hospital for many years. In her later years she volunteered at the Valley Manor and was an active member of the CWL. She loved working at the St. Patrick's Day Teas. She was a lifetime member of the Sacred Heart League and a faithful member of St. Hedwig's Parish. 

She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Private mass will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank St. Francis Memorial Hospital, Valley Manor and the entire health care team for the kindness and compassion shown towards our mom in her final days.
