Obituary
Ronald Anthonie Lorbetskie,72 of Barry’s Bay, passed away on May 7th, 2022 after a long battle with cancer. Ronald is survived by his loving wife of almost 50 years Joyce (Davidson), his son John, his daughter Melissa (Eric Tateno). Ronald had two grandsons Logan & Hunter. Ronald is also survived by his brother Ken Lorbetskie (Margaret ) and his sister Connie Schwieg (Jody). Ronald also is survived by his nieces and nephews.
Ronald is predeceased by his parents, John and Julia Lorbetskie, his brothers Arnold and Leonard Lorbetskie and his sister Joyce Hazard (Lorbetskie). Ronald was a volunteer in the community with Meals on wheels, the Barry’s Bay food bank and the gift shop in the St. Francis Memorial Hospital. As per Ronald’s wishes there will be no service or funeral as Ronald will be cremated.
We would like to thank the St. Francis Hospice for their kindness and wonderful care, also to our loving family and friends for their support during Ronald’s illness.
