Passed away peacefully at Valley Manor Nursing Home in Barry's Bay on Saturday October 16th at the age of 90, surrounded by family and his loving wife Gertrude of 69 years. Loving Father of Barry Genrick (Jennifer), Nancy Burgess (Don), loving father in law of Kathryn Genrick. Proud grandfather of Linda Dale (Pim), Jamie Genrick (Linda). Jason Genrick (Amie), Lisa, Adam Burgess (Michelle), Matthew Burgess (Kristen), Shawn Burgess (Alana), Ashton Stewart (Andrew), Nicole Keller (Scott) and great grandfather to 17. He is also survived by brother Ken Genrick (Doreen). Royden was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Agnes Genrick, 3 sons, Earl, Raymond and Glen Genrick and by great grandson Quinn Burgess. He will be fondly remembered by his family, in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. 

A visitation will be held on Tuesday October 19, at the Heubner Funeral Home in Barry's Bay from 2-4 & 7-9PM. A Funeral Service will be held at the St Stephens Lutheran Church in Schutt on Wednesday October 20th at 2pm. Interment to follow.
