Sally Goodwin

May 1928- June 25, 2018

Sally passed away peacefully at the Valley Manor on June 25, 2018. Born in May of 1928, she had just celebrated her 90th birthday. Surviving Sally is her son, Daniel, her two grandchildren, Leaha and Connor Baird, son-in-law Sam Baird and sister Noreen Schweig, and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Don Goodwin, daughter Lindsay Baird, her parents, Victoria and Frank Brezenskie, and two sisters Millie Yantha and Bernice Higgins. Sally was born in Barry's Bay and lived in Toronto, Germany, Lachine Quebec, Huntsville, Arnprior and, for the last eight years, in Barry's Bay. Her family would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Frances Memorial Hospital and the Valley Manor for the exemplary care she received while in their facilities. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation with family and a memorial service will be held at Heubner's Funeral Home in Barry's Bay on Saturday, July 21 from 2-4 pm.
