Violet Leona James (nee Bimm)
September 16, 1921 – July 30, 2020
Violet was born in Bangor Township, Ontario, to August and Susan Bimm. She was one of seven children. She met Cecil James and they were married in 1943, soon after, they began their farm life and raised their family in Centerview, Ontario. Violet enriched many lives with her warm friendship and kind hospitality.
Violet is survived by her son Wayne James and wife Ivy, granddaughter Kimberly Cameron and husband William, grandson Brennan James and wife Catherine, great-grandchildren Grayson Pahl, Liam Cameron and Abigail James. Violet was predeceased by her husband Cecil James, in 1996 and her daughter, Barbara James in 2018.

Due to provincial directives, the maximum number of people in the funeral home/church at any time is 30% of the venue capacity (25 at a time) and you must keep a minimum distance of 6 feet between you at all times. This means no hugging, handshakes or other forms of contact with people outside of your household. Masks are now mandatory to enter the funeral home/church/service location. You must remain outside in your vehicle (no waiting outside the funeral home/service location) until the service time and you must sign in with your name and phone number once you enter for contact tracing purposes. Please also ensure you use the hand sanitizer as requested. For graveside services the outdoor capacity is 100.
