Ellen Kathlean (Devlin) Pronovost

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that Ellen Kathlean Pronovost (nee Devlin) has passed away at age 82 of complications related to her cancer fight. Born: Calgary Alberta  December 18, 1934 to Parents: Anthony Devlin & Anna Martha Hanninen Sister: Teresa Devlin and Brother: John Devlin

Married: Antonio (Tony) Pronovost (pre-deceased) with Children: John, Rosemary (predeceased), Elizabeth, Kathlean and Cecile.

She loved her five grandchildren, great-grandson, lots of nieces and nephews and close cousins who are like siblings.

Child of the hard times between the wars but a time of close family ties. She was of a generation, who out of the depression, only thought of others and raised a Baby Boom generation. Mom was part of the great Canadian themes of her generation and Canada in the 20th Century. She lived her daily life with a priority and love for family & friends, church and community.
