I was saddened today to learn of Ellen's passing . . .it was only last week that I was asking Teresa about her! I came to know Ellen through her involvement with the Schizophrenia Association. She was a wonderful caring and giving woman .. .who was always smiling! God Bless you Ellen! With sympathy and prayers.

It is so sad to see Ellen go, I always liked the sound of her voice, I don't ever remember her in a bad mood, everyone liked Ellen. Ellen contributed to the existence of six people in an indirect way, because of her our parents met, so who knows what else she was responsible for. My condolences go to John, Liz, Kathy and Cecile, remembering our visits when we were kids.

My deepest sympathy to all of Ellen's family. I worked at Valley Manor with Ellen for many years. I always said that if I was sick, she was the nurse I wanted looking after me. Her heart and compassion were without end. She always put the needs of our residents first, despite the cost to herself. I will always remember her kindness, her positive outlook despite life's trials and tribulations and her warmth and love of people. So sorry for your loss and mine too. Rest in peace Ellen, love you xoxo

Very sorry to hear of your loss. Ellen was a good friend of mine. We shared a few meals and dances together. I cannot attend the funeral because I'm out of the country.
