Hi Mark

Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your Mom. I was sorry I was unable to get up to the Bay to offer these in person. I will always remember your Mom for the warmth and hospitality she always showed our family. Well, that and her awesome baking. Post-midnight mass with your family was always a highlight of the Christmas season.

Dear Mark: you were the light of your Mother's life. How wonderful that you got to keep her for so many good years. She was a wonderful, generous, community-minded woman and I will always remember the many, many times she played the piano and sang with us at Valley Manor. She brought pleasure to so many through the sharing of her gift of music. Rest in Peace Gwen. Linda xox

Dear Mark;
My sincere expression of sympathy. What a wonderful long and enduring life Gwen had... ..... the ever changing face of reality, however, is a constant . I have no doubt your memories will be rich, and I have a feeling that your Mom will never be far away .

Regrettably, I will not be able to attend the funeral . Blessings and prayers.

Karen

Dear Mark
You have lost a loving Mother, and the community has lost a great lady..

Gwen had wonderful stories to tell, and was always ready to strike up a tune wherever there was a piano available.. She never failed to send a birthday card, or a greeting on St. Patrick's Day, she had the most beautiful handwriting. We remember well the fun Irish singalongs at the Balmoral Hotel..She was a true treasure. I feel your pain.

Mark:
A mother is with us always, first in her lifetime, then forever in our memory. May you find peace & comfort in knowing that your grief is shared by so many.
I shall miss our many "neighbourly" chats and of course, her beautiful piano tunes one could hear from her open front door during a quiet & warm summer evening.
God bless you and the extended "Billings" family.

Dear Mark,

Deepest sympathy on your Mom's passing.

I saw the article on her taking the stage at 93 for the play "Here comes the Train".
Great to see her able to share those stories of Lake Traverse and life in the park.

I'm sorry I won't be able to make it down for her service but thoughts and prayers are with you and family.

She had a full life in service of others and her and your Dad were great godparents to have.

Our condolences to the Woermke/Billings family on Gwen's passing. We're so glad to have met her many times during our 2015 staging of _Here Comes the Train! (The Ottawa Valley Railway Story)_, that she and we were able to immortalise some of her life for Valley people, and that she was so entertained to see herself on stage! Who knew she would turn out to be such a good actor?!

All the best always to the whole family. Know that many treasure memories of Gwen along with you.

Dear Mark
There is not a lot I can say to help ease your pain and the loss of your mom. Please know that the gang is here for you.
Remember all the good times you have had with your mom. It has been over two years that my mom and dad have been gone and it still hurts at times, but remembering the fun times really helps.
I will always remember when a few of us would go for a walk at Christmas and then head back to your mom’s house for a hot cup of tea and a piece of Gwen’s famous chocolate cake. Then listen to her tell us a few funny stories and play a few tunes on the piano.
I will keep you and your mom in my prayers.
