With heartfelt sympathy I wish to express my condolences to Sly's family and close friends. I knew Sly as a work acquaintance and I had the pleasure of getting to know him during many conversations at coffee breaks. Some serious, some quite inane. I helped Sly with his Movember campaign last fall and, more recently, his "Ride To Work" initiative this past June. I was touched by his wish to include a tribute to fellow biker Bernie Surette. I knew him as a kind, fun-loving man with an easy, welcoming smile and a giving heart.

My sincere condolences to the Recoskie family. I at least had the privilege to know and briefly work with Sly, when I was a student on the trades and had the chance to always talk to him over the years as I established a job at the workplace. We had many laughs and talks and he always called me his honorary niece, as I called him Uncle Sly. He will be greatly missed with his laughter, smile and jokes, just to make someone or everyone's day better. Uncle Sly may the Angels engulf you and bring you peace and prosperity in your new life. Will always miss you. From Sheena Lubitz AKA: Honorary Niece
