I was saddened to hear of Zigmund's passing. He was a good neighbour, an intelligent conversationalist and always a welcome visitor at the Red Canoe Cafe. Wilno will not be the same without him. Rest in peace, Ziggy.

My sympathy to the Bloskie family. I was very sad to hear of Ziggy's passing. Ziggy had such a keen interest in our heritage and our history. He often helped me with my research (and I know he helped others too) sharing his memories, his knowledge and his photo collection, as well as cheerfully volunteering at the Museum, to meet and greet Sunday afternoon visitors, right up to his last years. I will miss him very much.

Our deepest sympathies go out to the entire Bloskie family in the loss of another icon of Wilno. Ziggy spent much time in our home throughout the years with our Dad, Alex Shulist, discussing logs, lumber and politics. Ziggy was a true gentleman and will be missed by many. Thinking of you during this difficult time.
Regards, Ryan & Lois Connolly

My sympathy to all the family especially to Martin, Dominic and Rose Marie, my contemporraries. Zig was a special trainee of my father and was very kind to him after he took over his job in 1963.
I will always remember him in my prayers.
